We're still collecting donations
On the 19th November 2021 we'd raised £315 with 8 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
To continue to help families and residents of NR3 to be able to feed their families in times of crisis. We are here to help those in need.

My name is Julie Brociek-Coulton and I am the manager of the Silver Road Community Centre. About 1.5 years ago we opened our foodbank and Silver Parcels and we have been helping people to get food on Thursday and Saturdays 10.30-12.30 since then. We do deliver to those who can not make it to us too through our dedicated volunteers. On Saturdays we also have a Community Fridge with free bread and other items that we get from Bread Source and the Foodhub in Norwich, as we are a member there.
We are now at a turning point at the foodbank where we can only help those people who really need us and are short of food etc. We would love to be able to say that people do not need us and that would be the vision we are working towards to try and make sure people are signposted and do not have to rely on us but we know realistically that is not going to happen for a long time. So we need help to fund the foodbank and we will use any monies raised for that purpose. We do have many donations but we also have lots of food going out as well two times a week. We would be really grateful for any help people can give us.
