Aim: Buy equipment to increase our fundraising efforts such as sound system, microphone & digital collection tin for self service card donations.

Who are we?

Sign 4 Fun have been working hard for over twenty years as a Volunteer British Sign Language Community Choir, donating all funds raised to deaf charities, in turn supporting many people. We are an amazing bunch of volunteers who use British Sign Language to sign along to played music. We perform in care homes, community groups and public spaces such as shopping centres.

Benefits to the Community:

We raise Deaf/deaf awareness and raise the profile of British Sign Language and the benefits it can bring to everyone.

We provide stimulating entertainment and activity for the local communities.

All money we raise from performances is donated to Hearing Dogs and National Deaf Children's Society charities, in the future we hope to branch out to local projects benefitting Deaf/deaf people.

Benefits to the members:

The group provides a safe, supportive space for individuals wishing to practice their British Sign Language.

A bi-monthly social group for people of all ages and capabilities.

A sense of commitment and value for the contribution we are making to the community, both deaf and hearing.

Additional Info:

As volunteers, all group members pay quarterly subs, which pay for our hall hire, uniforms, music stands, equipment, everything required so far. We are firmly committed to 100% of our donations received being passed onto the charities.

We now need to buy some large pieces of equipment to safeguard our fundraising capabilities, such as a much better sound system and microphone for public performances (Our current one is really on its last legs!). We also really need a digital collection tin enabling self-service card donations, as many people do not carry cash and this will provide a credible cashless option to boost our donations in public spaces.

Your donation, no matter the size will enable us to continue to fundraise, making a big difference to a large number of people now and in years to come.
