- Teddy20's journey began with dedicated fundraising efforts, community events, and tireless advocacy. Months of hard work paid off when they acquired "Ted's Shack" caravan in the serene south-west. Here, hundreds of children and families found solace away from the sterile hospital environment and the relentless grip of cancer.
Ted's Shack has now become a sanctuary of laughter, dreams, and cherished memories. It offers respite and healing, a place to escape the hardships of cancer.
Teddy20 continues to provide unparalleled work in the community and after being involved with the Teddy Rocks festival for a number of years, I'd like to raise £2000 or more by offering up my 12 1/2 years of hair growth. Anyone who knows me know my dreads mean a lot to me, we've been through a lot together, but the sacrifice is worthy of such a great cause.
We'll be shaving them off on the Sunday at Teddy Rocks.
