As many of you will know Sharon was a beacon of hope for many during our recent years of lockdown/covid, although she will play this down as ‘part of her job’ with the Morrisons community team, we all know she did so much more than this. From helping any fundraiser going to giving up her personal time to help at air ambulance days sharon has left a mark on our community and has helped us all significantly. Now is our time to help Sharon - a few month back sharon suffered a bad fall in her home on a Monday evening on her way to bed, this fall has resulted in her being hospitalised for the last few month and treated for paralysis from the neck down. While sharon is making some small progress, it’s taking longer than initially expected, with the outcome still very much unknown. She will now be transferred from james cook hospital in Middlesbrough over to Bethshan care home in west Cumbria to continue her rehab until her home has been adapted to suit for her needs. Sharon didn’t want this page as you will all know how proud she is, but as her friends we can’t let her fight this alone and we hope to show via this page how much people care about her and want to take this opportunity to give back to her what she has gave us on so many occasions. Thankyou for reading and let’s get Sharon home x
