A group of close university mates, who are running the Seville Marathon to raise awareness for Two Pints Deep, a men's mental health charity
We have decided to run the Seville Marathon to help raise awareness and support for Two Pints Deep - an amazing men's mental health community that was created by one of our close friends, Luke Barrow, following struggles with his mental health after sadly losing his mum to Cancer back in 2019.
Luke found himself finally communicating to his mates about his feelings, but only after a few pints. He is now determined to support men who might be feeling the same way, by encouraging conversation to eventually enable more men to talk about their feelings, without the need of ‘two pints’.
Men's mental health is often overlooked, yet it is a critical issue that affects millions of men worldwide. Far too many men suffer in silence, facing struggles with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges without the support they need.
We’re raising funds for Two Pints Deep, an organisation dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and providing vital resources, support, and education for men in need.
Why This Cause Matters
Any support, big or small, can help change the narrative around men’s mental health and ensuring that men have access to the resources, therapy, and peer support they deserve.
