The Conon Bridge Community Trust Steering Group formed on 27 June 2024. There are 9 people from Conon, their details can be found at CONON BRIDGE TRUST STEERING GROUP.
The Steering Group must prove that the Trust is needed. Without the Trust, the Fish Factory site will remain undeveloped. Therefore, public meetings, publicity and contacting the 1727 electors in the Conon Polling area by post is required. All this costs money. Corporate Sponsors will be approached to assist with the revenue funding required to formally establish the Trust. It is estimated that the cost this could be in excess of £7,000 including Solicitors fees.
All monies received will be used for Hall Hire; Leaflet Printing; Print / Post Envelopes; Legal Fees; Website costs and contingencies.
This Crowdfunding event is to seek direct contributions from the public. It is not expected to raise a substantial amount - a total of £300 would be great. Just a token gesture from Conon Residents to encourage the Steering Group to keep going.
