Sensory Garden Revamp

Aim: Hi everyone, we are revamping our rather run down sensory garden and we need your help!! Our students deserve a space to play and learn!

Hi everyone, my name is Mark and I am one of the Assistant Headteachers at Talbot. As part our school grounds we have a wonderful space in our sensory garden! The problem is the sensory garden is looking rather tired and run down. The space has very little for the students to do and interact with and it needs a new lease of life! 

As a school team we are trying to raise vital funds to kickstart our sensory garden revamp. We want to ensure that this space is fit for purpose and that all of our students have the chance to play and learn in this wonderful space. 

Once we have raised the funds, our students will be involved in the revamp process from start to finish. They will be involved in the equipment they would like to buy, the ordering, the unboxing and of course the revamp itself. It will be a very hands on project during our Community Engagement and Social Enterprise lessons. 

The students will be at the heart of all the decisions and will help to transform the space into a bright, vibrant outdoor learning area.
