Hello my name is Krishka Jackson, mother to Marley, I am a lone parent from Cornwall in the UK. I am reaching out to support my talented 13-year-old son, who has a passion for creating comic strips, trading card games, board games, animations and many other illustrations.
He has perfected his artistic skills by hand, dedicating countless hours to perfecting his own individual style. With the right digital tools, I believe he can take his talent to the next level and unlock his full potential.
Despite facing personal challenges, such as being diagnosed with a rare heart condition, losing our home, the sudden passing of one grandfather, followed by two strokes in the other, he has stayed dedicated to his education.
He has always excelled in school, and his creativity is what keeps him going during tough times. I am asking for your help to provide him with the digital tools that he needs. I have looked into the cost of a 5 year old, reconditioned IPadPro and they retail at about £550 with the essential drawing pencil.
This would be life-changing, not just for his creativity but also for his well-being, giving him a much-needed sense of achievement. As his mum, I am so proud of his work, and I truly believe that with the right equipment, he can go on to become a graphic artist, storyteller, or even a film producer. I’m confident that he will use the tools to their full potential.
I am going to sell his drum kit and a few other items he no longer uses for him and donate myself, but sadly I do not have anywhere near £550 to spare at this time. If you’re able to help, any donation would mean the world to us. I am aiming to donate myself and raise to cover £200... so the real amount we need help with is more around £300.
As a token of appreciation, we will create three gifts, which we will send to 3 winners selected at random from donors. These will be a one off framed design, a printed t shirt design and a printed mug.

Hi, my name is Marley and i am 13 years old. I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember. It’s how I bring my ideas to life and express myself. I get inspired by all sorts of things—like the games Cuphead and Little Nightmares, cool Indian animation I find on YouTube, and creators like Dr. Nowhere.
Right now, I’m working on a few big projects that I’m really excited about. One is a homemade trading board game called "Rattack", and the other is an animated series I have created called "Flesh." To keep creating and improving, I really need better tools. Right now, I draw and animate on an old phone, which is super hard on my eyes and really slows me down. Getting an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil would make a huge difference—it would help me take my art to the next level and would also be amazing for my GCSE film studies, which I start in September this year.
