SELFA Children’s Charity

At SELFA we work with children and young people from a wide range of backgrounds to give them a sense of belonging, encourage independence, support positive relationships, build self esteem, promote aspirations, build resilience and improve wellbeing.

Our vision as a charity is a community where all children and young people are celebrated and know they belong.

We are raising funds to deliver weekly groups for children and young people with multiple and complex needs. All children and young people in the sessions have disabilities that means they require 1:1 support to access fun activities that engage them in their community.

By supporting our charity you would be contributing towards enabling us to ensure all children and young people, regardless of their needs can access a community where they feel a sense of belonging, take pride in their achievements and experience happiness. The children and young people will take part in a wide variety of activities that suit their interests including Rebound Therapy (1:1 trampolining sessions that support both physical and emotional development), music sessions, artistic opportunities and sensory exploration.
