Our Ladies team at Sefton have made it to the finals of the National Cup in Twickenham. We’re looking to fundraise to get the Ladies there!

We have been overwhelmed with the response that we have seen to our campaign to raise money.
We didn't expect this outpouring of support so we did set a modest target which we are surprised to have reached so quickly.
We have extended this target in the hopes that this, along with other fundraising activites will now fully cover the costs incurred in terms of travel and accommodation for the team.
Sefton RUFC is a rugby club based in West Derby, Liverpool. We currently run 3 Senior Men’s teams, a Senior Ladies team as well as a host of Mini and Junior teams from U7s to U15s. The Ladies team were formed in 2013/2014, and have gone from strength to strength over the 10+ years, and this will be the first time in Sefton’s 118 year history that any of our teams have made it to Twickenham!
We are a volunteer run Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). As such we get minimal funding for travel from the governing body. Any funding we do receive will not fully cover an overnight stay for the Ladies so we’re looking to crowdfund as much as possible in order to get to the final.
Funds will be spent on transport and overnight accommodation to London, and hopefully being able to fund some travelling tops for the Ladies if funds allow. We would also love to be able to subsidise the travel costs for our amazing supporters should we raise enough money.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
