Supporting a community in Malawi, Africa one of the poorest Countries in the world. We have been supporting them by providing seed and ferrtiler since 2018 as well as with Educational needs. The project regarding seed and fertliser became self sustainable in 2022 until this year as they have been hit by drought and the quality of harvest is very poor with quantaties well down. The Community is facing starvation this coming Winter and the worry of no Crop to plant for next years` harvest. Please Donate in order to support the Community and to give them their dignity back

Seedfor Life.FeedforLife. has been supporting a community in Malawi by providing finance in order to purchase good quality seed and fertiliser to the Management Committee which is a Malawi registered Charity consisting of local residents.
The basis of the project is that seed and fertiliser is distributed to the local farmers who then plant and provide all the husbandry required and at harvest time they pay back a percentage of their crop in order to finance the purchase of more seed and fertiliser for the following year. This cycle has been working well and has been self sustainable for the past two years.
In tandem by supporting the farms we also feed approx 1400 primary school children every school day which not only fills their little bellies but also encourages them to get at least a basic education otherwise they would be working out in the fields.
To compliment the above we also financially support 20 secondary school children through their education as this has to be paid for in Malawi and two students are currently finishing their third year of a four year University Course.
This year there has been drought in Malawi and the harvest has been devastated there is not sufficient food to see the year out nor enough funding from this years harvest to provide feed and fertiliser for the 2025 harvest. This is not of their making - it is them experiencing Global Warming first hand you won`t find any members of this community sat next to you on your next flight to seek the sun or cruise ship adventure. Malawi is only 520 mile long but this year areas to the North have been affected by severe drought and areas to the South by severe flooding .
