About the Project:
I'm building more than a biker garage — I'm building a second chance.
Welcome to Second Gear, a unique garage designed not just for bikes, but for people. My mission is to provide young offenders with the opportunity to rebuild their lives, develop real skills, and become part of a supportive, purpose-driven community. This isn't just a garage. It's a movement.

Why I'm Doing This:
Many young people coming out of the justice system face a harsh truth: society often gives up on them. But I believe in second chances and the power of passion to transform lives. Motorbikes can be more than a hobby — they can be a way forward.
Through Second Gear, I'll offer young offenders hands-on experience in mechanics, customer service, and community engagement. I'll provide mentorship, structure, and purpose — helping them turn the page and write a new chapter.

What Makes Second Gear Different:

🚨 A Working Garage with a Mission:
 Offer professional motorbike repair, servicing, and customization — all handled by a team that includes reformed young people working under trained professionals.

💬 A Community Hub:
With mental health at the core, the garage will include safe spaces to talk, unwind, and connect. A trained mental health professional will always be on hand — because real strength starts with support.

☕ In-House Café & Events Space:
More than just nuts and bolts — Second Gear will feature a café open to all, hosting regular events like:

• Biker nights & vehicle showcases

• Quiz nights & guest speaker evenings

• Workshops & skill-sharing sessions

🎯 Growth and Rewards for Staff:
The young people I bring in won’t just learn to fix bikes — they’ll learn to build futures. With performance-based rewards, training opportunities, and leadership roles, they’ll see that hard work and commitment can take them far.

• On-site accommodation for those in crisis
