The Trusts objects are to strengthen the community. The Trust currently manages a youth project, environmental projects, a community cinema, and a sports/community resource center.

Seahouses MUGA has been purpose built for the use by the local community and the many tourists that visit our village every year.
It is just about complete the only thing we need now to put the finishing touches in is new flood lights. This work will be carried out by local contractors once we have enough funding to go ahead.
Although the MUGA can be used throughout the summer day and night with the options of tennis, pickle ball, basket ball and 5 a side we would like the community to have the opportunity to use it in the winter months as well. It gives groups like our local football club North Sunderland Football Club the option to still train through the winter when the nights are dark.
We are a small community with limited resources for sport and outdoor activities especially through the winter. It is important for the wellbeing of the villagers young and old that Seahouses MUGA is utilised to its full potential all year round.
Once The MUGA is up and running we hope for it to be self funding in the future with the support from Seahouses Development Trust, Volunteers and the entrance fees.
