I have been apolitical for most of my life. However, like many other people, I started to become increasingly concerned over the direction Britain was going in, with the pursuit of an ultra liberal progressive agenda, promotion of the multicultural dogma, the adoption of woke policies in our institutions and an outright pandering to a religious grouping, and wanted to do my own bit to alter this.
As such, I was listening to a New Culture Forum interview with The Spectator and Sun journalist Rod Liddle who said he was affiliated with the SDP. Everything he said struck home with me so I visited www.sdp.org.uk to find out more. I read 'The New Declaration' and was blown away at how much sense it made, and so immediately signed up as a party member and now regularly attend the monthly East of England regional meeting.
The SDP is not affiliated with any funding organisations so relies on its income from party membership. It is a small party so funding is tight, and with it fielding 100 candidates in the upcoming General Election, this is even more stretched. As such, I would appreciate any contribution, small or large, someone can make to supporting my candidacy to become the MP for West Suffolk. My priorities in the constituency are housing, public services and crime.
