Scrubs 4 BRI

UPDATE: Bradford Hospitals Charity BTHFT have this morning contacted us to say they have now received enough scrubs for Bradford Royal Infirmary from a commercial partner to compliment your donations!!!

This is incredible news! 

We will now therefore be turning our attention to other medical and care staff in the Bradford District that are experiencing the same issue.

Currently staff coping with the Covid-19 response are wearing their normal uniforms PLUS any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) currently available.

This is uncomfortable & cumbersome for the long, busy days they are currently enduring and this pandemic has not even reached its peak yet!

Ideally SCRUBS which are made of a lighter, thinner fabric would enable them to move more freely and in a little more comfort aswell as being easier to wash and dry quickly for the short rest periods they are able to take.

Our aim is to fund & source as many full Scrubs as possible comprising Tunic & Trousers to ease the lives of our Medical & Care Heroes across the Bradford district during this Covid-19 crisis.

We also have some seamstresses on board that have offered their time and skills FREE OF CHARGE to run up some Scrubs from a basic pattern!

We have managed to source some Amber, Claret and Floral Poly Cotton from a wholesaler at reduced cost so ANY OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS IS MOST WELCOME.......
