Scrambled Egg

The film is loosely based on the third Imperial Faberge Egg made by Karl Faberge for the Tzars wife. It disappeared from history in 1917 after the Russian revolution, when the Bolsheviks sold off most of the Tzars property. This particular Faberge Egg later resurfaced at an auction in Christie's in New York in 1962, where is was bought for approximately $2,600 by an anonymous buyer over the phone. Somewhere in the 80's, at a flea market somewhere in Mid West America, a scrap metal dealer bought it for $13,000. He tried to sell it on for a profit but no one thought that the Faberge Egg had any real value. Some people even scratched the surface of the precious golden egg to see if it was real gold!  

The Faberge Egg sat on a shelf for over a decade in his house, until he discovered that Wartski's (the curators of everything Karl Faberge related) in London were searching high and low for it. He sold it to Wartski's for $30 million dollars. 

So with that amazing and remarkable story, I wrote a feature film script loosely based on this idea, adding my own characters and scenarios, while putting the Faberge Egg through various experiences, as we follow it through time, which is why the movie is called Scrambled Egg. Incidentally, inside this Faberge Egg is a ladies watch made by Vacheron Constantin. 

The team love the story as there are so many plot twists and adventures plus some intriguing and fascinating characters. We all believe in the project and we want to see it completed. It is highly entertaining and hilarious and we are positive that you will all agree. So we need a bigger team hence why we have created this fundraising campaign. 

Synopsis

Rogue catholic priest, Father Pietro steals a precious Faberge Egg from the Pope and he in incensed! He tries to sell it on the black market to the highest bidder, but they have other ideas! They send Zhivko to retrieve the Faberge Egg from Pietro without payment, but in a panic, he posts it to his cousin Inma in London, where her kleptomaniac cleaner, Valerie pilfers it, however her teenage son Scott, sells it for £20 at a car boot sale. Pietro and Zhivko form a love hate alliance to track down the Faberge Egg.
