Update: Scotland The Bread crowdfunder success and rewards
Hello to all of our supporters,
A week on from our deadline and we are still reeling from achieving (and exceeding!) our target. Huge thanks again to all of you who helped us reach this milestone and to those who continue to donate to our projects through the Crowdfunder platform.
We are very excited now to put our plans into action! Already, we are delighted to have connected with several new community gardens keen to learn about growing their own local loaf with Scotland The Bread's nutritious grains. Discussions are also underway with a talented baker to help us develop 'Flour to the People' and share breadmaking skills with even more communities, while organisation begins for an event to bring community grain-growers together to share ideas and inspiration for the season ahead.
Over the coming weeks we will also be sorting out your rewards and will be in touch soon with relevant links and dates for events. We hope you don’t mind bearing with us as we organise these, we will get them to you as soon as we can.
