Schnauzerfest is a registered charity dedicated to paying veterinary bills for rescue dogs. Schnauzerfest supports animal welfare charities and rescue organisations that rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs by providing grants for the payment of veterinary bills and for their care. Educate the public in matters pertaining to responsible pet ownership, animal welfare and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals, with a particular focus on the practices of commercial-scale dog breeding.

0Schnauzerfest is a registered charity dedicated to paying veterinary bills for rescue dogs.
We began in 2014 as a fundraiser based on dog walks. Now as a registered charity there are many other ways that supporters fundraise for us. Everything done by our brilliant supporters means that as a grant giving charity Schnauzerfest is able to deliver financial assistance to rescue organisations. Veterinary costs for dogs in rescue can run into several thousand pounds for a single dog. Many of those helped by Schnauzerfest are saved from the commercial dog breeding industry.
As well as raising money for rescue dogs, at the heart of Schnauzerfest is a commitment to raising awareness of the cruel world of puppy farming.
Many dog breeds are exploited in the commercial dog breeding industry, including schnauzers. Schnauzerfest helps mainly, but not exclusively schnauzers. We seek to address issues which affect every dog, irrespective of breed. We support good rescues doing very challenging work with dogs taken from awful situations.
