I have been sewing over an decade, taught basic sewing and tailoring by my Nan who passed away this year. One of my last chats with her was that I really want to go to Savile Row to improve my skills in tailoring to achieve the standard of sewing I am aspired to be. I want to be able to create outstanding pieces of work.
I hold an degree in Fashion BA, I work full time as brand ambassador for Ralph Lauren so I can learn retail selling fashion that will help me with my own label.
Your money will help me massively! I will learn tailoring, the pattern cutting, the threading, the hand stitching, fabrics and many other factors. The summer course is £6K for 5 weeks. I really desperately want to learn tailoring, I have tried getting work experience or internship but local tailors won’t take me on as I don’t have certificate in tailoring. The course provides a certificate that I can use to do freelance tailoring for designers, I want to teach others how to do tailoring/sewing as well have my label. I will truly appreciate any donations.
I will be putting £2-3K towards the fee of the course but crowdfunding, selling items on Vinted/my website to fund this. There is no government funding to help creative designer

Design your own outfit
You will receive total of 4 hours (two 2 hours sessions or four 1 hour sessions) where we design your own outfit whether it is a suit, dress or both! This is only designing, I will provide tips on how to design manually and how you could bring your sketch to life!

Styling Advice
A private one to one appointment with me about styling. Do you have special event coming up that you don’t know what to wear? Do you fancy a change in wardrobe? I will be discussing trends, how to get the looks for your budget range.

Repair
Do you have a favourite item of clothing with a hole in it? Zipper broken? Or perhaps the buttons have fallen off? I could fix it.

Alterations
Do you have skirt or dress that is too long? Or need skirt or dress to be fitted? Whatever it might be, alteration might be to help. If not, you get 3, yes! 3 repairs instead!
