On the 1st December 2020 we'd raised £1,800 with 78 supporters in 218 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 1st December 2020 we'd raised £1,800 with 78 supporters in 218 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The County Music Bar is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Recent "government funding" has left a number of Live music venues without a penny owing to red-tape and qualification criteria that was increasingly difficult for smaller venues to meet.
Over the last three years we have ploughed personal monies and blood sweat and tears into creating an amazing music venue dedicated to supporting live original music and bands.
Since the beginning of lockdown we have worked tirelessly within the rules to ensure a safe environment and now face each week crippled by moving restrictions and a lack of financial support. We only asked for 20% of the minimum government application and this made us in eligible. But why would we ask for more than we needed? We don't need £50k we needed £10-15k to keep us afloat. We have already adapted in every way we can to ensure we have done as much for ourselves as possible.
It is with a heavy heart that we must rely on you the fans and friends of the venue and live music to help our survival. Your donations will be used to assist in the ongoing maintenance of the building, paying of business bills and all other overheads we face to just remain open and to provide a buffer fund for operating with restrictions to ensure artists and bands can be paid and the venue will remain to support live music in the future.
