Hobos Bridgend is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Our venue faces a risk of closure due to the fact we had to close during our live music re-launch, which was in mid April. We've been bringing big acts/artists to Bridgend since 2009 and this small town cannot lose our music scene. All our savings were spent creating a much better safer and comfortable Venue for customers and artists. We were still ongoing work and paying week by week but had to stop due to the spread of covid-19.
Your donations will be used to continue our hard work and continue with our relaunch, bringing more events for customers and work for performers/front of house workers to Bridgend. Making sure we arrive bigger better than ever as we were supposed to during this outbreak.
If we hit our target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
