On the 14th April 2020 we'd raised £800 with 25 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Our situation
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for many small businesses and individuals. Recent announcements regarding social distancing have already had a significant impact on our pub. We expect this situation could last a number of weeks, possibly even months.
Unfortunately, we face the prospect of a total shutdown of bars and restaurants across the country. This means that our business will grind to a complete halt and our workforce will suffer as a result.
We'd like to offer them as much help as we can but if the crisis continues as long as expected there's only so much we can do.
Our plan
We aim to create a hardship fund for our staff and for the business to survive until the end of this crisis.
Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events, hotel bookings etc. for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date.
These are difficult times and we appreciate that cash is short for many. We wouldn't usually ask for help from our community but we are facing very uncertain times.
Any support would have a massive impact for our staff and would help to save the pub that we love.
