Only visited the once but it is clear that the Bean Social team have created something special and very unique to the area. In an age where takeaway coffee is dominated by faceless, soulless, tasteless corporation coffee it's a crying shame to see somewhere, which cares about its coffee and its customers in equal measure like the Bean struggle. Pleasure to contribute to a worthwhile cause. Viva La Bean!

The space you have created is wonderful. I have enjoyed visiting the café since before you moved to North Road. I have seen it when it's busy and the atmosphere vibrant and seen it in those quieter, calmer moments. Fingers crossed 🤞 for Team Bean. The café is an asset to Durham and can't be allowed to disappear. See you soon for a coffee!

I think Durham will thrive by keeping independent shops such as your’s so just wanted to do my bit to help.
