OXFORD MUTUAL AID NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT

We are seeking urgent help to keep supporting thousands of people with food parcels.

THANK YOU
SO MUCH to our community for all your support so far! You have really come through for us and we are now halfway to our target with three more weeks to go.

To give us more time to build up sustainable funding links, we still need to hit this target of £15,000, so please keep donating and sharing as widely as possible. Thank you again!

Born as a community response to the Covid-19 pandemic, OMA is now a vital part of Oxford’s aid infrastructure and local food justice action. We currently support over 200 households with weekly parcels of food and necessities, and also provide over 200 emergency food packages a month. In 2023 alone, we have packed and delivered over 10,000 food parcels!

Going into 2024, we are facing an uncertain future and struggling to meet core costs. To avoid needing to change our operations, which may affect the number of households we can support, we need to raise £15,000.

Oxford is most known for its University and the wealthy surrounding districts. But this city is grossly unequal, and right beside them are some of the most deprived areas in the whole country, where ever more people are struggling to meet the basics of housing, heating, and eating.

As an organisation born from, led by, and working for our community, and operating 100% not for profit, we now need your help.

Whatever your capacity, we appreciate any contribution you can make to fight systemic food injustice and support our local community.
