Jackfield village hall has long been a community resource, it was built post WW1 and has been in constant use since then, it was long supported by a village lottery which has sadly ended and is one of the reasons for our financial difficulties. It is still used by arts organisations, yoga classes and for events, but our costs far outstrip our income now.
We need to find a way to make important improvements to encourage more people to use it but at the moment can’t even afford to get the outdated lighting replaced and are struggling to even pay the now very high utility bills and maintenance costs. The hall is run by a small volunteer committee and we are all very concerned it could face closure in the near future without substantial assistance to get us through what we sincerely hope is just a rough patch, any help you can give would be gratefully received
