Paul Rodgers is fundraising for
The Music Venue Trust
Charity No. 1159846

£1,710
The boss of BBC Radio 6 Music Paul Rodgers has announced he’s leaving the corporation after almost three decades, the last 12 years of which have been spent running the station.
This page is to say thank you to Paul for his passion and dedication to a unique and wonderful radio station which is beloved by listeners and hugely important for the music community.
Paul said:
"If we want to continue to share great music on the radio with listeners who love to hear it, then we need to support the live music infrastructure. Without grassroots venues, it would be much more difficult for artists to get started in music and make a living from it.
If you are thinking of contributing towards a leaving gift for me, I’d like to thank you and I would be delighted if you would donate to the Save Our Venues cause and help support live music in these troubled times."
All money raised will go to support the Save Our Venues campaign created by Music Venue Trust to prevent the permanent loss of grassroots music venues across the UK.
