Bells Sport Field Allotments are a vital part of the Three Estates with many residents benefitting from being part of a community and feeling close to nature whilst reaping the health benefits this entails.
The toilets need to be renovated to ensure they are safe and accessible to plot holders. The allotments are used by members of the community in a deprived part of Birmingham. People of all ages use the site to enhance their wellbeing and grow their own produce.
The toilets have unfortunately become unsafe for use and need to be renovated. Without toilets on site, it will mean that many people won’t be able to use their allotments. The allotments support people from all walks of life including the elderly, young people, people with mental health difficulties and those with additional needs. It allows people to grow produce, improve their mental health, reduce isolation and have a sense of community.
We are asking for your support to improve the toilets and keep this vital community resource going. Thank you
