---- WE NEED YOU TO SAVE YOUR SCENE ----
Following the hugely successful Save Our Scene campaign earlier this year which raised over £18,000 to directly benefit those workers in the music scene in Manchester and Salford that didn’t qualify for any government support, we are very excited to now launch the second phase of the project at a time when our scene is at such a critical point.
We are opening up applications to anyone in Manchester and Salford with an idea for creating long-term positive change in the local music scene. We are aiming to raise a £5,000 minimum that will create a bursary fund to make the winning idea a reality! We are looking for ideas of projects or initiatives that will have a lasting effect on the music scene in a way that makes it more open, inclusive and accessible. This does not have to be exclusive to a nightclub setting!
How can you support?
Our new phase of fundraising will be in the form of a raffle. A lot of amazing local businesses from in and around Manchester have donated some incredible prizes and for the minimum donation of £5 you can be in with a chance of winning one of the prizes below:
Ultimate House party set-up from Neuron Pro Audio
1-2-1 production class over Zoom with a very special guest
1x Warehouse Project 2021 Season Pass
£70 Freight Island tab
£40 Le Social Wine vouchers
Be Right Back goodie bag (including t shirt, compilation and more)
Runner up prizes:
3x £20 vouchers for Le Social Wine
3x Le Social Wine class + sparkling bottle
Applications for the bursary are open now! And will remain open for three weeks and will be judged by a panel made up of Robbie Bloomer and Marcos Navarro of High Hoops, Alice Woods - Meat Free / Under One Roof, Rebecca Swarry - RebeccaNeverBecky / Queer Latifa, Pops Roberts - Lovescene / Wilderness Records and Kitty Bartlett - BLOOM
