For the past 14 years, Kidz-Eco Bathgate has been more than just a place to find
 affordable preloved baby goods. We have been a cornerstone of the community, providing invaluable support to parents and their children. Through our classes, activities, and social interactions, we educate, support, nurture, and empower parents, making a real difference in their lives and the lives of their children.

The Impact of Our Closure

Due to a period of on-going vandalism and safety concerns for our staff and customers, Kidz-Eco Bathgate was forced to close on 31 May  and it faces one of the biggest challenges in its history to re-open the doors. 

This closure has far-reaching consequences:

Environmental Targets: By staying shut, we’re missing our environmental targets. We cannot accept donations and our commitment to sustainability is slipping through our fingers. The circular economy needs us back in action.

Community Support

🚫 No kids' classes – that’s fewer giggles and fewer bright minds nurtured.

🚫 No workshops, and support groups—that’s fewer friendships formed. 

🚫 No community space – that’s fewer connections and mental health and well-being suffer.  These were lifelines for parents.

Economic Strain

The lost income during this period has placed a significant financial strain on us, making it challenging to recover and re-open safely. This heavily impacts on the relief we can provide families in these financially challenging times.
