We're still collecting donations

On the 6th November 2020 we'd raised £80 with 3 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Felixstowe Firework Spectacular has entertained tens of thousands of spectators since the first event in 2008, but is now in severe danger of disappearing from Felixstowe's events calendar for good.
The event in 2020 has been cancelled due to Covid-19 and this has had a devastating impact on finances and sponsorship.
The display and other attractions are provided solely by the volunteers at Felixstowe & Walton United Football Club, with no outside support or grants available. With the country, and football locked down for months earlier this year, and restrictions still in place, finances have been decimated and the event, which costs £20,000 each year to put on will not be back in 2021 without funds being sourced to provide the event.
The event has raised many thousands of pounds for local charities in its 12 year history, as well as funds to provide football opportunities to all ages within the football club. The end of the display will be a huge loss to Felixstowe and leave the town without a public display of its own.
We're hoping to raise £5,000 to secure the future, and enable 2021 to be the biggest and best yet... literally coming back with a bang!
If you can help in any way, we would be most grateful.
