About Our Project

Rob Paxman, a former SAS soldier and Hostile Environments Close Protection trainer, is highly regarded for his involvement in training top-tier military and ex- military, particularly those heading to Ukraine to support their defence against  hostile Russian forces. His extensive experience, including training international Special Forces and foreign military volunteers, underscores his credibility. Paxman's work has been widely reported over the last two decades, highlighting his role in preparing volunteers for deployment to conflict zones and even contributing to Ukrainian forces' strategic military successes. This solidifies his standing as an expert in Hostile Environment training, adding significant value to The Village Project.

Rob Paxman also runs a mental health charity focussed on helping those who have developed severe stress-related conditions, allowing the sufferer to understand their reaction to traumatic events and gives them the tools required to address their condition and return stronger, more resillient and energised to continue with thier lives.

Welcome to The Village Project

This is a groundbreaking initiative which combines the thrill of Military Firearms Simulations, and Airsoft Events, Disaster Management training with professional-grade Hostile Environments Awareness Training and Media training. Located on a 4-acre site at our Whitchurch Estate, our facility is set to become the UK's only dedicated training centre for security professionals, airsoft enthusiasts, corporate team building events, and private groups wanting a very real experience.

We have a track record of offering actors and film proffessionals training in realistic reaction to hostile environments.

•    Integrated Training Environment: Our facility is co-located with a 100-metre live fire range, allowing for comprehensive training scenarios that can’t be matched elsewhere in the UK.

•    Realistic Scenarios: We create immersive experience with volunteer actors and airsofters, bringing training to life with realistic, adrenaline-pumped scenarios.
