Aim: I am abseiling down a 19 storey building for fantastic local charities in Broadwater Farm and Northumberland Park on 21st June!
The only reason I would choose to abseil down a 19-storey building in Broadwater Farm (before it gets demolished as part of the BWF regeneration) is to support amazing community projects that make such a difference to the lives local residents. Funding is a real challenge for the voluntary and community sector and your donations will make sure projects can continue to run and grow. Please donate what you can!
The causes include:
The Moselle Community Project - an amazing hot food kitchen on Broadwater Farm that brings around 60-70 residents together every week. Reducing social isolation.
Haringey Adventure Playground - Provides a fantastic and essential resource for over 600 families on Northumberland Park.
Raza Street Gym - A brilliant street gym that keeps kids active and engaged in positive activities.
Project 2020 - this amazing youth hub provides a safe space for young people aged 10 to 19 to participate in structured activities 5 evenings a week.
