Samstail’s mission is to support and empower dog rescues across the UK by increasing their visibility, facilitating collaboration, and providing essential funding. We focus on helping understaffed and underfunded kennels continue their vital work while raising awareness of rescue dogs in need of loving homes.

By connecting rescues, volunteers, and adopters, we create a stronger, more effective network dedicated to dog welfare. Through donations, grants, sponsorships, and fundraising events, we generate financial support to distribute equitably, ensuring rescues have the resources they need to thrive.

Our journey into dog welfare started when I was in the U.S Air Force, and was founded in the UK. One day during a military deployment, a moment was taken to feed a couple of stray dogs. Watching them eat sparked a realization—so many dogs in the world were in desperate need of care and love. That moment stayed in mind and became the inspiration to adopt a dog upon returning home. That decision led to Samantha, a rescue who quickly became a constant source of comfort and joy. Her bright eyes, wagging tail, and unwavering companionship made every day better, no matter the circumstances.

On the next military deployment, thoughts often drifted back to Samantha. Memories of her happy welcome, her excitement for walks, and her quiet presence during tough times brought both comfort and longing. She became a reminder of the countless other dogs still waiting for a chance to experience that kind of love and connection.

Now, with Samstail’s platform, those moments with the stray dogs and the bond with Samantha come full circle. What started as a simple act of kindness has grown into a mission to change the lives of many more dogs in need. It’s a journey rooted in compassion, driven by the belief that every dog deserves a chance to be loved like Samantha and those unforgettable strays.
