Aim: I am raising money for St. Paul's Church Centre which needs major repairs to its roof. Please help me reach our target.
I am raising money to fix the leaky roof on St. Paul's Church Centre. A cherished institution that is very important to the local community. We are facing a critical situation and your donations will help me reach my target of £30.000. The building has served as a venue for countless weddings, receptions, birthday parties, and various community events. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in supporting initiatives such as blood donation drives for the NHS, Christenings, and a weekly gathering for senior citizens offering free coffee and fellowship every Tuesday.
Despite being a central hub for community activities, the annual running costs are barely covered by congregation donations and premises rentals.
The appeal specifically calls upon individuals, businesses, and organisations to contribute generously, safeguarding the future of St. Paul's and its services to the community. The appeal seeks to raise funds not only for the church itself but also to sustain the various groups and activities that depend on the centre, including Kingfisher Pre School, Tiny Tots, CID’s Café, North Dorcan Senior Citizens, dance groups, exercise classes, birthday and celebration parties, emergency shelter, and NHS Blood donation drives.
