Guide Dogs
Charity No. 209617

£0
Guide dogs is an amazing charity providing support for those who suffer from a loss of sight. From puppy walkers to specialists who provide support to owners after they receive their dogs, the charity provide much more than just a support dog.
I have seen first hand how amazing this work is through Nyle, who was my dads guide dog. He not only provided a best friend to my dad but also supported him through everyday tasks like crossing the road that most take for granted. I personally find it amazing how an animal can save someone's life and give them so much confidence!
I think everyone who needs a guide dog should have this opportunity, hence why I want to raise as much money as I can for the charity as I take on the London Marathon. An example of how your donations can help;
- £25 Could buy a white Harness, the iconic symbol of a working guide dog.
- £35 Could support a working guide dog partnership for a week.
- £50 Could buy an 'Off to school kit' for a puppy.
- £100 Could pay for five hours' training at a Guide Dogs training school.
- £140 Could buy a starter kit for a new guide dog owner, containing everything that they need to start a life with their new guide dog.
