I'm proud to be running this half marathon in support of Military vs Cancer, a charity that provides crucial support to those affected by cancer across the military community and beyond. As well as offering practical and emotional help, the charity actively champions local causes—such as helping organise and promote women’s rugby events in the North East. Women’s rugby in our region has struggled in recent times, but thanks to initiatives like these, we’re able to shine a light on the incredible talent and determination of local players while raising awareness and funds for an important cause.
