Hello!
I'm George and I'll be running the Bristol Half Marathon on the 25th September – that's around 13.1 miles or 22k. I'm raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK, they help those with Dementia & Alzheimer's with treatment as well as researching into finding the cure for the disease.
I've been doing my training, running regularly and getting into shape, three lockdowns has not been kind on the waistline, so it's been challenging at times haha! Even after all this, it's a much better use for my time than researching for the cure myself, I think I'll leave it to the professionals!
