Dylan Corbett-Bader is fundraising for
The People's Recovery Project
Charity No. 1199225

£627
For those of you who don’t know me my name is Dylan, I am a twenty seven year old from London and am one of four brothers.
On February the 3rd 2022 we received the devastatingly tragic news that my younger brother James had passed away from a drug overdose. He was only twenty three years old and had been struggling with addiction for a while.
On the 18th May 2025 I will be running the Hackney Half Marathon in aid of ‘The People’s Recovery Project’.
The People’s Recovery Project is an innovative charity that seeks to make recovery achievable and sustainable for people experiencing homelessness and addiction. The project is designed to create an alternative pathway and package of support for people in this situation to access residential treatment: co-designed and co-delivered by community members with lived experience.
it is so unbelievably important to support and raise awareness for charities like ‘The People’s Recovery Project’ who are doing amazing life saving work by helping those most vulnerable find the support they need and giving people the opportunity to access residential detox and rehab which can create transformative results for the individual concerned.
Donating to ‘The People’s Recovery Project’ will help them to deliver support which could save lives. Everyone deserves a chance to live. Not everyone is aware of the options that are available to them, so please share this, and if you can, donate whatever you can afford. It would truly mean the world to me and everyone at the ‘The People’s Recovery Project’.
James heartbreakingly didn’t make it, but with the help of this charity there are many more who can.
Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart.
Let’s get running.
