Runhall Recreation Ground was set up to encourage and promote wellbeing and mental health through outdoor activity for all age groups in the village of Runhall. It was created by the donation of two allotments which have been transformed into a recreation ground. The Runhall Community Group is a small group of volunteers with the aim of:
- Providing improvements to Runhall Recreation Ground and
- Maintaining, developing and improving on existing facilities in Runhall.
This project will rejuvenate our village recreation ground by providing new, fun and exciting facilities for children, which are safe, suitable for a range of ages (2-18 years old) and accessible for those who are less able. The new equipment will be supplied and installed by a reputable company and include:
- central climbing tower, with slide, climbing wall, rope net, etc.
- smaller climbing tower, with toddler slide - 3 bridges, monkey bars and a fireman’s pole
- all-access roundabout.
The Recreation Ground will be open 24-7 from the time the renovations are completed.
