I’ve seen firsthand how powerful community and inclusivity can be. Whether it's through my work with cancer research, my engagement with people from all around the world, or my passion for encouraging women to get active, I believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel they belong. Running has always been that space for me — a way to connect, reset, and feel stronger with every step.
But I know not everyone feels that way. For many women, running can seem intimidating or out of reach. That’s why I’m passionate about supporting Let’s Run Girls, a community that welcomes women of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to take up running in a way that feels comfortable and empowering.
I’m running the Cambridge Half Marathon to help break down barriers to running and make it more accessible to all women — whether they’re chasing finish lines or just starting with a few steps.
This isn’t just about running a race. It’s about making sure every woman feels confident to lace up her trainers, get outside, and find the joy, strength, and community I’ve found through running.
With every mile, I’ll be thinking about the women we can lift up together. 💖
