We are looking to raise funds to safeguard the future of this ambitious and community focussed football club

On the 31st July 2020 we'd raised £6,092 with 42 supporters in 53 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
If we reach our stretch target we will be able to fully cover the costs associated with resurfacing the pitch, replacing the wooden posts with a fence (with access points for ambulances) and new dugouts for the home and away teams. It will also support our ambition to re-establish the football club as a focal point for the village, through multiple community engagement programmes.
We are an inclusive and growing football club, currently supporting 4 senior teams and a youth setup that ranges from U6’s all the way up to a newly formed U18’s team. The men's first team is currently playing at the highest level in the club's 112 year history, following back to back promotions in the last 2 seasons.
However, with the previous season coming to a premature conclusion due to the Covid crisis, we have been left in a precarious financial position. Unable to recoup up-front costs through match fees in the usual manner, we’ll be starting next season with a daunting debt burden.
Against this backdrop, we must also fund the ongoing costs of running the club, which includes next season's pitch hire fees, league affiliations, insurance, kit, footballs, medical equipment and new goalposts for the U18's team. We're also making some much needed improvements to the pitch and adding dugouts, the costs for which are only partially covered by a FA grant.
We have launched this Crowdfunding Campaign to help raise the funds needed to achieve financial stability and ensure our resources match our ambitions. Any help we can receive from the local community towards this target, no matter how small, will go a long way to ensuring our survival.
We are also delighted to offer donors the opportunity to select from a range of special rewards, as a small token of our appreciation.
Many thanks in advance,
