RSPCA Norwich

We are a local, independent Branch of the RSPCA based in Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk!

Our mission is to raise awareness, provide practical support and demonstrate compassion in order to deliver excellent animal welfare in our Branch area, which we achieve in lots of different ways.

Every year we help thousands of animals and pet owners through our adoption and rehoming services, reduced-cost veterinary partnerships, pet food bank and subsidised neutering initiative. We also run an excellent education and awareness programme, helping to create a new generation of young people as dedicated to animal welfare as we are.

It's not just cats and dogs we help either! Our team have the expertise and knowledge to help all kinds of animals, we have found homes for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, snakes, goats, donkeys, rheas, fish - even Giant African Land Snails! Our passion is animal welfare so if we can help we will and with your support, we can do even more good and help even more animals find a safe, loving home.

Our 2023 Achievements

We found homes for 421 animals, delivered more than 400 education sessions to over 8000 students, microchipped 1,292 animals, issued 1,259 neutering vouchers, helped with 367 veterinary bills and gave support and advice to 5,435 members of the public.

Through our charity retail sites, we also saved an incredible 40+ tonnes of clothes, shoes and bric-a-brac from going to landfill.

It costs us on average, £225 per animal to feed, treat and care for them, getting them ready for their new homes and adoptive families.
