Bio:
My name is Richard Parker and I’m a secondary school teacher.
I became a teacher because I wanted to make a transformative change in the lives of those around me: to help my students find the language to discover who they are, to develop the courage to dream big, and build the skill set to succeed in an ever-changing world.
I’m standing for election because there are barriers to Education that can’t be changed from inside the classroom. As your Councillor I want to champion Education and opportunities for young people as well as be a powerful voice for the community.
