ROYAL SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS WEST DORSET BRANCH
The charity promotes the work and objects of the National RSPCA being to prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of animals, in the West Dorset and Axminster Devon area. It takes into care and rehomes unwanted and stray pets, assists owners with payment for veterinary treatment, and contributes to South West regional RSPCA schemes.

We are an independent self funding charity covering the towns of Dorchester, Bridport, Weymouth, Portland, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Sherborne and Axminster. Our priorities are the welfare and rehoming of local animals which includes cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, other small furries and birds through our Taylors Rehoming Centre based at Kingston Maurward College, Dorchester. All funds raised are spent within our local area.
