ROYAL SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS CAMBRIDGESHIRE MID-EAST

RCN 205294, March

To promote animal welfare, support animals abandoned, injured and distressed. To support owners by educating them on animal welfare and minimal animal welfare standards. To help owners on low income with veterinary care for their animals. To rehome unwanted animals.

All RSPCA branches are separately registered charities, they receive no government funding and rely primarily on donations raised locally. We could not carry out our work without such generous support.

The RSPCA Cambridgeshire Mid-East Branch are one of 140 independent branch charities that also support the local work of the RSPCA’s Inspectors. We are a separately registered charity although we are supported by and work in partnership with the RSPCA National Society.

We are primarily self-funding and the money we spend in our area is raised in our area. Income is also generated by our charity shops in March and St. Ives.

The RSPCA Cambridgeshire Mid-East Branch helps to rehabilitate and rehome animals in our care. Some animals need our help because they have been badly treated or abandoned, others because their owners can no longer care for them. We give them any necessary veterinary treatment and board them until we can find them a safe, happy new home. We also give advice to owners and, if necessary, help with the cost of veterinary treatment.
