Ross-on-Wye Community Development Trust exists to unlock the potential of the Ross-on-Wye community to enhance the quality of life in the town.

We achieved charitable status in 2019 and at the heart of our operations is the Ross Good Neighbours scheme which aims to help people across the town in many different ways.

Our team of volunteers provide a range of services for people who are vulnerable and need support. We can provide a home shopping service, befriending, light DIY or gardening tasks as well as a dedicated Helpline.

We offer support to local volunteer organisations and charities, enabling them to access useful resources, DBS checks for volunteers and employees, publicity, as well as networking, connecting them with each other and connecting with local volunteers.

We also support our community through various projects:

CLOVER - our project which aims to provide creative new ways for people in HR9 to access activities to improve their well-being.

Ross-on-Wye Money Box - providing signposting and access to free help and support to help people stay in control of their finances.

Spaces for Faces - creating friendly spaces that encourage conversation between strangers and for people to come together
