We are raising money for a family based in Harare, Zimbabwe to help them build a roof for their house.
The father of the family used to do construction until he fell from a height onto a cement floor while working. He has not been able to work since. The family raises vegetables around their home to survive. The oldest son trained to be a mechanic of mining vehicles but lost his first job due to Covid only three months after getting a position (after a year’s apprenticeship and study for two years in a technical college). The second son has severe epilepsy, such that he cannot hold a knife or climb a ladder lest he get a sudden attack and hurt himself. The cost of his medicine is a heavy burden for the family. Their home has only a roof on a few rooms. The other rooms which the father built to expand the home (the boys used to sleep on the floor in the kitchen) were not finished after his accident. When it's raining half of the house is flooded.
Please kindly help us improve their living conditions.
