Aim: 🌿 Help Rebuild Our Community Therapy Shed: A Nature-Based Space for Healing and Connection.

1749930136_screenshot_2025-06-14_084201.png🌿 Since it opened during the pandemic, our little Shed has been central to our work offering a welcoming, safe space where people of all ages come to reconnect with themselves, each other, and nature.

Whether through gentle creative workshops, nature-based research sessions, or quiet peer support gatherings, the Shed has been a place of healing, creativity, and rest — especially for those who often feel left behind by conventional services.

But last year, our Therapy Shed’s roof was severely damaged, and we’ve been unable to use this essential space since. We’ve had to suspend core community health programs that rely on privacy, calm, and shelter. And we’ve lost a place that so many have described as their lifeline.

Now, we need your help to bring it back.

🔨 What We’re Raising Money For

We need to raise £5,280 to:

  • Safely remove the old damaged roof and any damaged interior

  • Install a new, weatherproof roof

  • Cover essential safety and scaffolding costs

  • NB: About Our Space:
We lease the Therapy Shed (5-year lease) from the owner and have landlord agreement to carry out essential roof repairs and restore this healing space.

Thanks to early support, £500 has already been raised by the Cockwood Sea Shanty festival (thank you all so so much!) — now we need £4,780 more to restore this space and resume our work.

🌱 What the Shed Supports

With the shed restored, we’ll be able to restart:

  • Community arts & nature groups — sculpture, poetry, and sensory workshops

  • Peer-led health and wellbeing gatherings — especially for underserved groups or those who identify as neurodivergent

  • Nature-based research and therapeutic programs — creative sessions exploring sleep, breath, and reconnection

  • Youth arts award program and community group sessions

All of this is delivered with care by our experienced team of facilitators, artists, and therapists, grounded in nature, arts, and health equity.

💬 What People Say About Our Work

“I didn’t realise I needed this, but it was the best release from daily life in challenging times.”

“So much support, kindness and fun has been had by all — our group was such a lifeline.”

“I felt seen, supported, and understood for the first time in a long time.”

These words reflect the heart of what we do — and what your support can help us restore.
