We supply any bereavement facility in hospitals across the UK with the following items:
**Blankets
**Little Hats
**Sleeping Bags
**Tiny Nappies
The Units are funded by fundraising but what they need most of all can't be brought they have to be made because these babies are born between 20 - 24 weeks when they are not recognized legally as babies. A baby is not legally recognized as a baby until it is 24+ weeks old.
In April 2019 my daughter lost her twin son's at 24 weeks gestation and because of the kindness of another mother she was able to dress them in clothing that fit her sons but the hospital only had a limited amount of these items and were in desperate need of more and needed specially designed nappies that would fit such tiny babies, so with the aid of a midwife we designed the nappies and set out to help every family that unfortunately had to use the hospitals bereavement facilities with 1 outfit, 1 nappy, 1 hat and 2-4 blankets per family free of charge during their difficult time so they could make as many memories as possible with their baby
Since April 2019 we have filled all our local bereavement facilities and are now aiming to fill bereavement facilities in hospitals all over the UK, we are fund raising to get help with the cost of specific materials and equipment needed to help make these items and the postage fees to send these packages out, so that we can help more families during their difficult time
