We're still collecting donations

On the 14th March 2025 we'd raised £2,320 with 35 supporters in 35 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

 New stretch target

All the money raised will go towards the nets. A contractor with a 15-year track record, who has emerged as a premier provider of cricket facilities will install  new matting for both lanes

Some example pictures are shown above, as shown this will be a lot better, safer and more effective. There are photos also included of what the nets currently look like!

Ripley Cricket Club founded in 1749 is one of the oldest Cricket clubs in the country! With a thriving academy section with All-stars and different age groups along with two league Saturday teams, a midweek t20 side and a Sunday trust and social team, Ripley Cricket Club has something to offer to all abilities.

However, whilst we have been able to invest in improving the pavilion this year, we are missing an improvement in fixing our netting facility.  This would allow us to enhance the quality of training we have to offer.  It will provide a fantastic facility for our youth and adult players, to allow us to provide excellent training to our members to help them learn and enjoy the wonderful game of cricket.

Therefore, it has been decided that the installation of new and best matting that Durant Cricket has to offer, along with new netting around the facility to further improve and make the facilities safer. This project is something the club has wanted to complete for a long time, however, it has come at a big financial cost. Therefore, any donations would be greatly appreciated to help put towards the cost.

Many thanks,
